What I did
- Full-screen Linux system running under a Wayland compositor, started automatically by systemd.
- Split into main and renderer processes so the UI can never reach the network or the hardware directly.
- Wired a BME280 over I2C, a PIR motion sensor, and a 12 V LED strip on GPIO.
- Active, ambient, and sleep states driven by idle timers, plus a custom URL scheme for local photos that blocks path traversal and symlink escapes.
